Shenell Knight
Community Service Chair
Hello, my name is Shenell Knight. I am a 47-year-old proud mother of two wonderful children, ages 22 and 18. Family is at the center of everything I do, and I take great pride in supporting my children in their academic, athletic, and personal achievements while encouraging them to always strive for excellence and integrity.
I am also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc., where I continue to grow personally while building meaningful connections through sisterhood, leadership, and community service. I am a dedicated and resilient woman who believes strongly in helping others, maintaining strong values, and creating opportunities for success not only for myself, but for those around me as well.
Through life’s challenges and accomplishments, I have remained determined, compassionate, and committed to personal growth. My goal is to continue inspiring others through my strength, positivity, and willingness to uplift my family, community, and everyone in my circle.

Ishanique Kemp
Events Planning Committee
My name is Ishanique Kemp, and I am a 33-year-old nurse with a minor in Criminal Justice who is deeply passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, I transitioned into the field of education and currently serve as an Assistant Principal at a behavioral school in South Phoenix.
My background in both healthcare and education has strengthened my commitment to advocating for mental health, wellness, and overall well-being, particularly within underserved communities and among youth populations. I firmly believe that healing, support, and guidance have the power to transform lives, and I strive each day to create safe, empowering environments where individuals feel seen, valued, and supported.
I joined Kappa Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc. because I wanted to be part of a sisterhood grounded in self healing , sisterhood l, and service. The organization’s mission and values align closely with my personal commitment to uplifting others, advocating for mental health awareness, and creating opportunities for growth and healing within the communities I serve. Becoming a member has allowed me to connect with like-minded women who are dedicated to making a meaningful difference while inspiring excellence, unity, and resilience.
Through healthcare, education, leadership, and mentorship, my mission is to inspire growth, encourage resilience, and help others become the best version of themselves.
